The schools involved will be offered up to 30 places for the scheme which will see more than 100 students in total working with industry figures, including the likes of design agency Kritikal Media, singer Nia and musician and sound engineer JC. Once the young talent have finished producing their work within their workshops, it will then be showcased to Krept & Konan at a graduation ceremony. The ‘Positive Direction Foundation’, or PD Foundation, will be aimed at youths from 11 to 18 and will include industry experts visiting local secondary schools and deliver workshops on song writing, graphic design, programming and sound engineering.

They both appeared at Croydon Council’s cabinet meeting, where they mentioned a new scheme they wish to put forward in order to help young talent from their local area succeed within the creative industries, hoping they can create opportunities for the next generation and help give something back to their community.
